135 km/h speed; Cyclone Rimal wreaks havoc in West Bengal; Red alert in various states

Kolkata: Cyclone Rimal hit the coast of West Bengal and Bangladesh
Massive damage. The speed of the cyclone was 135 km per hour
Central Meteorological Department informed that it blew. West Bengal,
Rimal made landfall causing damage to the coastal areas of Bangladesh.

The cyclone which intensified yesterday afternoon hit West Bengal by 8.30 pm
Reached the shore. Sagar Island in Bangladesh and Khepupara in Bengal
Rimal touched down in between. Effect of wind in the Moghla region of Bangladesh
Caused heavy damage.

Red alert has been announced in other states. Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh
An orange alert has been announced. and of the hurricane
Lightening and heavy rains in these states as a result of low pressure
The Meteorological Department has also warned that there is a possibility of floods.
Winds are expected to blow in different parts of West Bengal for the next four hours
There is a warning that there is a possibility and people should be careful. Hurricane
NDRF teams have been deployed to all affected areas
People are being shifted to safer places and the Central Home Ministry said
Minister Amit Shah wrote in X. Kolkata as the cyclone made landfall
Airport and train services were temporarily suspended.
