MLA wrote to the Chief Minister to provide relief to the families who are suffering due to the development of the National Highway.

Chavakkad: 8 families living in Ward 3, Kadapuram Gram Panchayat, Ward 21, Chavakkad Municipality, Guruvayur Constituency are completely isolated due to the construction of National Highway-66.

Families with elderly, sick people and students are unable to go to work, school or hospital. Guruvayur MLA NK Akbar gave a letter to the Chief Minister of Kerala showing that they are in distress as the yard and the road are completely covered with mud after the rains and that the children’s studies will be disrupted when the school opens. The MLA said that he had spoken to the Chief Minister’s office and informed that immediate action would be taken in this regard.
