Guruvayoor: The 14th Sampoorna Ashtapadhi Maha Samarpanam, jointly organized by Shanmugapriya Foundation and School of Geethagovindam for Sri Guruvayoorappan, was held on Sunday, August 11.
Mallisheri Parameswaran Namboothiripad, a member of the Guruvayur Devaswom Administrative Committee and Temple Ooralan, inaugurated the event by lighting the Bhadradeepam at Sri Guruvayurappan Auditorium on the south nada of the Guruvayur Temple at 8 am.
About 400 musicians participated in the dedication of the 12th century epic Ashtapadhi by Jayadeva Mahakavi, which is being held at Sree Guruvayoorappan Auditorium on the south nada of the Guruvayoor temple.
Organizers Shanmukha Priya Foundation Chairman Mahesh Iyer and Managing Trustee Anuradha Mahesh said that singers from many parts of the world have come together to offer this dedication to Sri Guruvayurappan. Manoharan and Suneev VS were present on the occasion.
