Thriruvenkidachalapathy Temple: Procession concludes with Pallivetta
Guruvayur: The Pallivetta procession concluded at the Thiruvenkidachalapathy Temple on the evening of the festival. Following evening rituals, the deity was taken out in procession. Guruvayur Devaswom’s Kombhan Ananthanarayan took the lead, with support from Kotappady Santhosh Maarar and Aneesh Nambeesan, Guruvayur Seethu, and Guruvayur Shanmukhan. The procession culminated after the rituals, and thereafter the traditional procession, Pallivetta, commenced in the temple grounds. The procession was conducted under the presence of the Guruvayur Temple Uralan Mallissery Parameswaran Namboothirippad. The procession involved a circumambulation of the temple six times, followed by the closing ceremonies.
The festival commenced on May 2nd and will conclude with the lowering of the flag, concluding with Yatra Bali, Gramapradakshinam, and Aarattu. The festival at the Thiruvenkidachalapathy Temple in Guruvayur is notable for its traditional rituals, attracting devotees from across the region.
