Independence Day celebrations at Guruvayur Devaswam

Guruvayoor : The country’s 78th Independence Day was celebrated with pride under the auspices of Guruvayoor Devaswom. At 8.30 am at the Devaswom headquarters, Chairman Dr VK Vijayan took salute at the parade of the Devaswom security personnel, retired security personnel. Then hoisted the national flag.
In his Independence Day message, he said that he bowed his head to the memory of the brave patriots who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. Members of the Devaswom Board of Directors, Mallissery Parameswaran Namboothiripad, KP Viswanathan, Administrator KP Vinayan and Devaswom employees were present on the occasion.
