Guruvayur: On the occasion of the birthday of former Prime Minister and Indian National Congress President Rajiv Gandhi, the architect of modern India’s development, the Guruvayur Constituency organized a Goodwill Day celebration under the auspices of the Congress Committee.
Consituency Congress President O. K. R. Manikanth presided over the event held at Manjulal Premises in East Nada, which was inaugurated by Block Congress Vice President P. I. Lazarus Master.
During the event, leaders took the Rashtriya Sadbhavana pledge while offering flowers and prayers at the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi. Former Block President R. Ravikumar, Block Vice President Balan Warnath, Youth Congress State Secretary C. S. Suraj, Block Congress Secretary Shivan Paliath, Constituency Farmers Congress President Stephen Jose, Mahila Congress Constituency President Priyarajendran, Youth Congress Constituency President K. K. Rajjith, Service Pensioners District Secretary V. K. Jayaraj, KPSTA Secretary Raymond Chakramakil, and constituency leaders C. Sivasankaran, Basheer Manikathpadi, Sasikumar Patthakil, M. M. Prakash, Jalil Muthuvattur, Ragesh K., and Ramachandran C. also addressed the gathering.
