The American space agency has discovered an Earth-like planet outside the solar system. The exoplanet was discovered by NASA using the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). This planet named ‘Gliese 12 b’ is 40 light years away from Earth.

Tess satellite discovered this mysterious planet after continuous observation for about a month. Exoplanets are detected by the brightness of thousands of stars around the planet. Changes that appeared between 20 seconds and 30 minutes in time were reviewed. Project assistant at the Astra Biology Center in Tokyo said that the planet that was found is the closest and has the same size and energy as the Earth. Masayuki commented. Scientists say more studies are needed to determine whether it has an atmosphere.

107 degrees Fahrenheit is considered the surface temperature. Temperature required for water to form on the surface
