Misleading propaganda that figures are falsified; The Election Commission has released the figures of the voting percentage in all the five phases

New Delhi: The Election Commission has termed the campaigns that the voting percentage is manipulated as misleading. The commission’s explanation came after releasing the voting percentage and the number of voters of all the five phases of polling completed in the last few days.

The commission explained that such campaigns are aimed at subverting the election process. According to the figures, the polling in the first phase is 66.14 percent. Voting was held in 102 constituencies that day. In the second phase of polling in 88 constituencies including Kerala, the turnout was 66.71 percent. The turnout was 65.68 percent in the third phase of 93 constituencies and 69.16 percent in the fourth phase of 96 constituencies. In the fifth phase of polling in 49 constituencies, the turnout was 62.20 percent.

The number of votes cast in each polling booth and the voting percentage will be submitted by the Election Commission within 48 hours of the completion of the polling.
